Post Christmas Joy!

Ahhhh, I love the feel of today.  The busyness of the holidays is behind me, we enjoyed a wonderful week with the in-laws, the house is my own again, the kids are playing nicely together downstairs and I have a few minutes to myself.  What do to, what to do?

I already am caught up on facebook – but that can be a dangerous time waster as I look at the time and wonder where the last 2 hours went to?  Sure it was only 20 minutes… Definitely time to practice blogging again. So thanks in advance for stopping by and having a read. I hope you leave informed, amused, inspired, motivated…I have a lot of improvement, I know!

So like I said, “Ahhhhh” it’s a beautiful wintery day!  Perfect for a hot cup of tea and curled up indoors.  Time to pull out the photos from my camera from the last few days and see what I have to work with.  It would be nice to send Grandma and Grandpa a little photobook highlighting the activities we did together while they were here.   Maybe create a tobogganing poster for the kids’ rooms.  I took a quick peek at all the Christmas Collections available in the Digital Art section of my favourite digital scrapbooking site – Heritage Makers www.mypublishedstorybooks.com – and was pleased to see I have lots to work with.  Let me share some with you.  Maybe it will inspire you today too!

Merry Christmas from the Multitasking Momma

Hey, it’s the Multitasking Momma here!  Amazing to me how many times I think about writing something on my blog while I make pancakes.  Too bad I end up burning my pancakes, otherwise you would be hearing something more profound from me. LOL

I feel that I am really weak with words, as you can probably tell if you’ve been checking in now and then with the blog, but as this time of year focuses my mind on all the blessings in life that I have enjoyed throughout 2010 I thought it appropriate to at least try to convey a part of the gratitude that is overflowing in my heart.

I am thankful for all the wonderful technological gadgets that are available in my home.  Keeping in touch with loved ones is so much easier.  Finding the balance between always being on the computer, checking email 20 times a day, browsing facebook for hours at end and having creative fun with digital scrapbooking is a bit more difficult.

I am amazed at all the stuff I have.  This summer we moved and I got to see first-hand how much I really do have once it was all packed up into boxes.  I definitely have an abundance and I look forward to being generous with it all and sharing our home and belongings with others.

I am grateful for all the amazing people that I have met this year.  My home business brings a lot of new people into my life – clients who I can help and new consultants who I have opportunity to get to know well as I help mentor them in their new storybooking business.  The best investment I can make is my time in people’s lives growing a friendship that will last for years to come.

Yes, I have been blessed this past year.  Thank you to everyone who has been a part of that.  You may never know the extent of what your life and your influence have done to help shape me into a better person.

May you have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year!

Still Publishing

Well, I can’t really call myself a publishing machine with just one project … here’s another Christmas decor project with the deck of playing cards …

And I also created new business cards and gift cards for my Heritage Makers business with the deck of playing cards. Such a versatile product, thanks HM!

I am a Publishing Machine!

As a Multitasking Momma, I don’t have time to waste – who does?  But I can always find a few moments to be creative thanks to digital scrapbooking!  This week I have been a publishing machine getting ready for Christmas (I know, its before Halloween, but we had some early snow here in Calgary and I’m in the mood!).  I’m looking to do some new decorations and found some cute project ideas in Heritage Maker’s Template Gallery with the deck of playing cards.  Here, take a look and let me know what you think!
